South Asia School of Business Holds Strategic Planning Meeting with Wadhwani Foundation

The South Asia School of Business (SASB), University of South Asia, organized a strategic planning meeting with its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) partner, Wadhwani Foundation, on March 16, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the Dean's office. The meeting focused on enhancing student employability through soft skill development and increasing enrollment in skill-based courses.

The meeting was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun, Dean, South Asia School of Business, while Ms. Shisir Ghosh, Associate Learner Success, Wadhwani Foundation and Mr. Karimul Alam, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Business Administration, University of South Asia were present.

Wadhwani Foundation is offering 13 soft skill courses, totaling 113 hours, free of cost to registered students of the University of South Asia. These courses are designed to equip students with essential professional skills, increasing their career readiness and employability in today’s competitive job market.

During the meeting, both parties discussed strategies to maximize student enrollment in these courses and leverage them for career advancement. The initiative aligns with SASB’s commitment to fostering industry-relevant skills and strengthening academia-industry collaboration.
