MBA Club, South Asia School of Business Holds a Seminar to Explore Future of Human Resources in Bangladesh through the Lens of People and Technology The MBA Club of the South Asia School of Business, University of South Asia, Amin Bazar, Savar, Dhaka-1348 successfully hosted a virtual seminar titled “People + Technology: Shaping the Future of HR in Bangladesh” on May 03, 2025 (Saturday), bringing together HR professionals, industry leaders, academics, and students to explore the evolving landscape of human resource management in the digital era. The seminar aimed to shed light on how digital transformation, AI, and data-driven decision-making are reshaping the human resources function across industries in Bangladesh. The event featured a dynamic lineup of speakers, including Keynote Speaker Mr. Md. Kamrul Hassan, Head of HR at Bikroy.com, who shared insights on the integration of technology in recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, and the future skillsets required for HR professionals. Assoc. Prof. M. Abdullah Al Mamun, Dean of the South Asia School of Business & Director of IQAC, University of South Asia, chaired the seminar, emphasizing the need for forward-thinking HR practices that leverage technology while maintaining the human touch. Md. Karimul Alam, Head of the Department of Business Administration, delivered the welcome address, while Md Mehidi Hassan, Convener of the MBA Club, offered the vote of thanks. The seminar was hosted by Rupa Noor.
