Irshad Ahemd Shaheen is vastly experienced in teaching language and literature. He has completed his Honors and Masters in English Literature from the Department of English, University of Dhaka. He has a diversified career in which he has worked as a Mentor, Teacher, Academic administrator, Director of a Language Centre at a renowned University before his present engagement. Moreover, he is a cultural connoisseur and activist. He is very much involved in media as well. He is a well-known organizer, director, and anchor in various high profile literary-cultural programs on different TV channels.
