The South Asia School of Business, University of South Asia, ceremoniously organized Freshers’ Reception 2025 on June 28, 2025, at the University’s permanent campus in Amin Bazar, Savar, Dhaka-1348, to warmly welcome newly admitted BBA, MBA and MBM students. The event was graced by Professor Dr. M. A. Wadud Mondal, Honorable Vice Chancellor of the University of South Asia, as the Chief Guest, who delivered an inspiring speech on academic excellence and integrity. Ms. Sayeeka Huq, Managing Director of Talent Sharpner and CEO of Swift Squads, attended as the Guest of Honor, emphasizing the need for industry readiness and ethical professionalism. The event was also graced by several distinguished special guests, including Professor Dr. Khondaker Mohammod Shariful Huda, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees; Mr. Mohammad Kamruzzaman, Registrar; Professor Irshad Ahmed Shaheen, Dean of the School of Arts and Culture; Professor Dr. Anisur Rahman, Dean of the School of Public Health and Life Sciences; and Mr. Johurul Islam Jewel, Head of Student Welfare, HR, and Deputy Registrar of the University. The event was chaired by Associate Professor Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun, Dean of the South Asia School of Business and Director of IQAC, who highlighted the school’s dedication to delivering quality, ethically grounded, and innovation-driven education. The welcome speech was delivered by Md. Karimul Alam, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Business Administration, who warmly greeted the freshers and introduced the academic environment and student support facilities. Other faculty members, officials, staff and students of the department attended the orientation program. The event was supported by Happy Times, TK Group (Snacks Partner), Talent Sharpner (Career Partner), and Channel S and Khaborer Kagoj (Media Partners). The program concluded with vibrant cultural performances by the students and a networking session that facilitated engagement among students, faculty, alumni, and guests.
