The closing ceremony of selection round of 2nd International Business Olympiad Bangladesh 2024, organized by Business Genius Bangladesh and sponsored by University of South Asia (USA) was on held on June 07, 2024 at University of South Asia, Amin Bazar, Savar, Dhaka-1348.

Associate Professor M. Abdullah Al Mamun, Chief Adviser, Business Genius Bangladesh (BGB) & Federation of Hospitality, Tourism & Event Management (FoHTEM) and Dean, South Asia School of Business, University of South Asia chaired the closing ceremony. He praised the participants for their enthusiasm and innovation, emphasizing the significance of such events in shaping the next generation of business professionals. Mr. Md. Ali Mortuza, Chief Guest of the closing ceremony and Center of Excellence Corporate HR, Transcom Ltd., highlighted the critical need for skilled professionals in the evolving business landscape.

Mr. Johurul Islam Jewel, Head of HR and Deputy Registrar, University of South Asia highlighted the importance of extra-curricular activities of student life. He also informed the audiences that University of South Asia always encourages the students to participate like this event. Amon others, Mr. Zafar Sadiq, President of Prothom Alo Bondhushava, National Committee; Mr. M A Nahiyan, Head of Sales & Marketing, Central Inn Hotel and Chairman of FoHTEM, BDW, and BGB; Mr. Md. Karimul Alam, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Business Administration, University of South Asia; Ms. Rawkatun Nur, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration and Head of Communication, University of South Asia; and Ms. Rumpa Mittro, Lecturer and Coordinator of BBA program, Department of Business Administration, University of South Asia were present as the special guests.

The participants received “YES CARD” for final round competition at Centra Inn Hotel, Motijheel, Dhaka on June 08, 2024 at the closing ceremony. Business Genius Bangladesh, the organizer and University of South Asia, sponsor of the event, expressed their gratitude to all sponsors, partners, and participants for making the event a resounding success. The Central Inn Hotel, Motijheel, Dhaka presented the event in association with Federation of Hospitality, Tourism & Event Management (FoHTEM) and Bangladesh Debate Warriors (BDW), while South Asia Business Club (SABC) was the club partner.
