Admission Requirements

1. Undergraduate Program

BCSE / BCSIT (Regular)

  • A total GPA of 5, with a minimum GPA of 2.5 in each of SSC and HSC separately (Science background). Applicants with a GPA below 2.5 in either exam must achieve a total GPA of 6.
    Example: if SSC GPA is 2.00, HSC GPA must be at least 4.00; or if HSC GPA is 2.00, SSC GPA must be at least 4.00.
  • For O Level and A Level students: minimum 5 subjects in O Level and minimum 2 subjects in A Level, with best GPA on the scale A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1. A minimum GPA of 4.00 (Grade B) in four subjects and 3.50 (Grade C) in three subjects is required. Mathematics and Physics are mandatory for engineering subjects.
  • A minimum total GPA of 5 in SSC and HSC examinations for children of Freedom Fighters.
  • 12-year equivalent degree holders (must have permission from the Ministry of Education, Bangladesh).

BCSE / BCSIT (Diploma Pass)

  • Minimum GPA of 2.00 in SSC.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.00 in Diploma.

2. Graduate Program (MCS / MCA)

  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree in any discipline is required.
  • All graduate programs require a minimum GPA of 2.00 in the Bachelor's/Honors degree, along with fulfillment of SSC, HSC, or equivalent qualifications.
