Seminar on “Beyond IQ: Emotional Intelligence for Career & Corporate Success” Held at MBA Day 2025

As part of the MBA Day 2025 celebrations, the South Asia School of Business, University of South Asia, successfully organized an insightful seminar titled “Beyond IQ: Emotional Intelligence for Career & Corporate Success” at the university’s Permanent Campus in Amin Bazar, Savar.

The keynote speaker, Mr. Abdullah Taher, Founder & Lead Facilitator of Bangladesh Skill Bank, captivated the audience with an engaging address on the growing importance of emotional intelligence (EI) in achieving long-term success in today’s dynamic and competitive corporate landscape. He highlighted how emotional intelligence—encompassing self-awareness, empathy, adaptability, and interpersonal skills—is often a more decisive factor in career progression than traditional cognitive abilities alone.

The seminar was honored by the presence of Prof. Dr. M. A. Wadud Mondal, Vice Chancellor, University of South Asia, as Chief Guest, while Associate Professor Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun, Dean of the South Asia School of Business & Director of IQAC, chaired the session.

This inspiring event encouraged students to reflect on their own emotional competencies and understand the vital role they play in effective leadership, collaboration, conflict resolution, and overall career advancement. The session marked another step forward in the School’s commitment to holistic education, combining academic knowledge with real-world skill development.

The South Asia School of Business thanks all attendees and contributors for making the seminar a resounding success as part of MBA Day 2025.
