Message from Director
Greetings from the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at the University of South Asia, Bangladesh.
The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is established in all public and private universities in Bangladesh to implement a structured framework for systematically reviewing academic programs. Its primary objective is to uphold and enhance the quality of teaching, learning, research, knowledge generation, and support services to meet acceptable standards.
Recognizing the growing demand for quality assurance in higher education, the University of South Asia established its IQAC on February 19, 2019. Committed to excellence and innovation in education and research, the university continuously enhances its learning environment and updates its curricula. The IQAC plays a pivotal role in centralizing and streamlining quality assurance initiatives at the University of South Asia, ensuring continuous improvement and academic excellence.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) upholds accountability and transparency in the institution's quality management system, ensuring the highest standards for all stakeholders, including students, faculty, administrative staff, quality circle members, funding agencies, and society at large. It is entrusted with the responsibility of implementing and overseeing robust quality assurance policies and procedures that maintain and enhance the academic standards of the university. Additionally, IQAC plays a vital role in fostering continuous improvement in teaching, learning, and research experiences.
I am pleased to share that, since February 2019, IQAC has been established as a permanent academic wing of the University of South Asia. Functioning as an independent center, it remains committed to driving the university's continuous advancement. Your invaluable support and cooperation are crucial in this journey. Together, we can position IQAC at the University of South Asia as a leader in higher education in Bangladesh.
