Seminar on: Integrating OBE into Institutional Culture: A BAC Accreditation Perspective

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the University of South Asia, Amin Bazar, Savar, Dhaka-1348, organized a seminar titled “Integrating OBE into Institutional Culture: A BAC Accreditation Perspective” on March 19, 2025, at the university’s conference room.

The seminar was conducted by Prof. Dr. Noori, Head of the Department of CSE, and Md. Sazzadur Ahamed, Assistant Professor, Department of CSE, Daffodil International University..

Prof. Dr. M. A. Wadud Modal, Vice Chancellor of the University of South Asia, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Associate Professor Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun, Director of IQAC and Dean of the South Asia School of Business, presided over the seminar..

The event was attended by Deans, Department Heads, the Deputy Registrar, Deputy Directors of IQAC, and other faculty members. The speakers emphasized the significance of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) in the context of BAC accreditation and discussed strategies for effectively embedding OBE into the institutional culture.

South Asia Lecture Series: How to Perform Effective Maintenance

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), University of South Asia, Amin Bazar, Savar, Dhaka-1348 organized the “South Asia Lecture Series on How to Perform Effective Maintenance” on March 05, 2025 (Wednesday)at 11:00 am at the Conference Room of the University. The Keynote Speaker was Engr. Moinul Ahsan, Additional Director (ETL), IQAC and Associate Professor & Head, Department of Textile Engineering, University of South Asia, while the Chief Guest was Prof. Dr. M. A. Wadud Mondal, Vice Chancellor, University of South Asia.

The session was Chaired by Assoc. Prof. Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun, Director, IQAC and Dean, South Asia School of Business, University of South Asia. Deans, Heads, Deputy Registrar, Deputy Controller of Examinations, and other faculty members attended the session. The speakers highlighted the ways and importance of proper maintenance of any machinery, electronic product, or computer.
