The MBA Club of the South Asia School of Business, University of South Asia, proudly hosted MBA Day 2025 on May 9, 2025 (Friday) at the university’s Permanent Campus in Amin Bazar, Savar, Dhaka-1348. The day-long celebration brought together students, faculty, alumni, corporate professionals, and esteemed guests in an inspiring showcase of academic excellence, leadership development, and cultural diversity.

The event commenced with a Grand Opening Ceremony, setting a vibrant tone for the rest of the day. Prof. Dr. M. A. Wadud Mondal, Vice Chancellor of the University of South Asia, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Assoc. Prof. M. Abdullah Al Mamun, Dean, South Asia School of Business, & Director, IQAC of University of South Asia, chaired the event. Md. Kamrul Hassan, Head of HR, Bikroy.com; Professor Irshad Ahmed Shaheen, Dean, School of Arts and Culture; Johurul Islam Jewel, Head of Student Welfare, HR & Deputy Registrar, University of South Asia, were present as the special guests. Md. Karimul Alam, Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Business Administration, University of South Asia, delivered the welcome address.

Students engaged in thought-provoking sessions, including the seminar on “Bikroy: Building Careers, Empowering Lives” conducted by Md. Wasir Farhad Zaman, Head of Business Development, Bikroy.com and “Beyond IQ: Emotional Intelligence for Career & Corporate Success” conducted by Abdullah Taher, Founder & Lead Facilitator, Bangladesh Skill Bank. These seminars gave students valuable insights into current trends, strategic thinking, and essential soft skills required in today’s competitive business landscape.

The afternoon featured a lively Cultural Fest. “Aesthetics – The Band" lit up the stage with an unforgettable performance! Mehzabin Tanha — Enlisted singer of Bangladesh Television and Top 14 finalist of Channel i Khude Gaan Raaz 2013 — graced the stage with her soulful performance.

The energy and enthusiasm of the participants highlighted the importance of creative expression alongside academic pursuits. Finally, the much-awaited Raffle Draw was held, bringing excitement and surprises to close out MBA Day 2025!
